Term Limits Bag

The solution to our problem government of corruption, greed, and the need our elected officials have to protect their jobs, and their sweet pensions, salaries, perks,  outrageous health care and their power is to make term limits the law of the land; irrevocable forever, written in stone and never able to be changed or voided.

Not like in NYC, where the people twice have voted in city wide referendums, to limit the mayor of New York’s to two terms in office, this has passed with the people’s majority vote  two times. But no, the mayor of NY, Michael Bloomberg, a billionaire, decides that he wants to run for a third term and let the voters be damned to what they want; their votes are nothing, null and void. The mayor goes ahead and has the NY City council vote and ok for him to run again for a third term. When you have money and power it corrupts all, and if the mayor of NYC can override the will of the people, certainly the president, senators, supreme court judges, and house of representatives can do what they like with something like the Bill of Rights.

The government leaders are trying to protect their jobs and government positions. Instead of implementing ways to help our country, they are finding ways to kidnap and enslave our population to the shackles of big

government. With term limits, we will get a different legislature; one that seeks to truly help and make this great country even greater, Without their own desires to corrupt, the need to payback their supporters, and fulfill promises, they will understand that they will only serve a short time and then they move on and they have a finite time limit to leave their genius to the people.
