HELLO, CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?

2009 Elections, Corzine-Christie, New Jersey, Obama, healthcare plan, media, politics, tea party, town hall meetings 2 Comments

Democrats and liberals alike are cringing in fear ,confusion, and dread over the resounding defeat they suffered from the monumental election results.

The elections show that Mr. Obama, his power grab, and his socialist ideas have been rejected and that the people are willing to vote his cronies and henchmen who follow him out of office.  In  New Jersey and Virginia,  states that Obama easily won in a landside vote this past presidential election, have turned away from the big spending, huge government ,cradle to grave freebie mentality that Obama dictates. The electorate is willing to speak out with their vote and throw these power hungry villians out into the streets. When the people’s calls, letters, tea parties, town hall meetings,  protests fall on the administration’s deaf and dumb ears, the electoriate will go to the poles and show these lustful demigods that their will and desires will be respected and followed or else the usurpers will be looking for a job. Obama fought hard in maintaining the status quo in getting the losers reelected by  campaigning vigoriously in New Jersey and Virginia with Vice Biden, Oprah, and Michelle Obama all campaining and continuing to spout the spin and misrepresentations that have been so prevelant a part of the rhetoric that is constantly sprewed by  everything that Mr. Obama and his henchmen touch and stand for. All their charisma has failed to fool and produce the needed and desired results to keep the present X elected officials in office. At present, his spin artists in the administration have been churning and  turning and twisting everything in every which way,  into having the population believe that the election results  are just a trivial bump in the road to their socialist,  communist pathway to controlling and taking away the  rights of the people. In private the Obamas, the Harry Reids, Pelosis, the czars,  the liberal congressmen, and left wing house representatives know through fear of their own impending future loss in their upcoming elections, they have  come to the realization in their black hearts that they are on the brink of political elimination if they continue to follow this fuhrer blindly in his quest to take control of health care, eliminate free enterprise, increase strangling taxation, take over banking, insurance, and the automobile industries. Let these election results, be an eye opener for all, the people are not going to sit back and let this country be raped and changed into a third  rate nation, by anyone, even someone who knows how to make a good speech  and has the news medias hypnotized and whose wife has  arms, you and those who trespass on our freedoms will be voted out, into the scrape pile of X government representatives, GUARANTEED.

912 March in DC; We The People

912, 912 March, 912 Tea Party, Obamacare, politics, tea party No Comments

912 was really a day of hope.

There is a great feeling of accomplishment when you are able to act on something in addition to just following the news and talking about it.

We joined together on 912 in DC, and in other cities throughout  our country, and made a statement. No media outlet or politician can take that away from us.

In this world of hate and politics, filled with accusations and mockery, I want to point out the camaraderie we felt with one another on 912. The respect we had for one another and the mutual feeling that we were just so appreciative with everyone who made a great effort to join us on that day. Additionally, we thought of those that we knew who would have liked to be there and couldn’t. We were their representatives. This gave us the feeling that we accomplished even more and this movement will not end on this day.

Perhaps unintentionally this is the hope and change Obama referred to during his campaign. The power of we the people.

Van Jones: “Damned Good Disguise”

Health Insurance, Obamacare, healthcare plan, politics No Comments

I quote Van Jones in The Huffington Post article, “Van Jones Breaks Silence On Resignation: ‘Nothing But Love For Obama.”

“Of course, some supporters actually think I will be more effective on the “outside.” Maybe so. But those ideas always remind me of that old canard about Winston Churchill. After he lost a hard-fought election, a friend told him: “Winston, this really is just a blessing in disguise.” Churchill quipped: “Damned good disguise.” I can certainly relate to that sentiment right now.”

If you cheered in the streets that Van Jones left his Czar position, think again. He is laughing all the way to the bank and who knows how much power he still has? Check out Yid With A Lid’s article and the accusation that he was targeted because he is black!

Disguise is the key clue to our present government. As the disguise is revealed those that aren’t aware will find the true intentions of the Obama team.

Now we have Pelosi crying because she fears violence as a result of the disagreement with Obama’s policies. And Michelle practically in tears pleading with women’s groups to pass this healthcare bill. The disguise is evolving.

After the race card, I guess this is next card in the deck. Have the female politicians cry and play the women’s empathy card.

Thank You Joe Wilson for the Change We’ve Been Waiting For

It’s very ironic that they are asking for an additional apology. Should we start making a list of the apologies needed and the inappropriate, inaccurate apologies made since the start of this presidential campaign? (The campaign hasn’t ended at the advent of the presidency, so I start at that point.) I agree with Faultline USA’s article, One Apology Too Many.  Please read it. Joe Wilson should never have apologized the first time. Additionally, this article provides us northerners a background to where Joe Wilson and Jimmy Carter come from.

Personally, I feel like finally someone in DC opened their mouth and disagreed with the supreme powers in charge, the media reported it, and there are discussions in America about it. Actually it’s not discussions and more like a food fight. So the arena wasn’t the best choice, but America is listening now.

Are we ready to take on the real issues behind the accusations. Illegal immigration, racism, and a “sincere debate” as Carter referred to it, about health care? No one advocating a single payer system wants a sincere debate. If they wanted it why are they name calling? We’ll see increasingly more polarization between the two parties and America will be divided strongly. I’m hoping for long drawn out  debates in Congress. Maybe it could stretch out till the next recess and we could go back to Town Hall Meetings? Just a wish!

I believe it was Newsweek who reported that we are born racists. Actually the real accusation I believe is conservatives are born racists. I must disagree with that. I can’t say my children are conservatives, but even at a very young age, they couldn’t even recognize a black person. They are basketball fans and they couldn’t recognize Shaq as any specific color. Going to school with a multiracial group of children, they thought perhaps Indians were black. Racial discrepancy is learned from family and one’s environment. Those that bring up racial divisions are those that have an issue with race and are perhaps the racists. The 912 March in DC and the Town Hall Meetings were about bringing up issues and nothing to do with racial tensions.

Take a look at this article. The evening before of the 912 March I joined a “Meet and Tweet.” Here’s the segment I am referring to:

I was about to leave, but Judith Weiss from New York City–who had been proudly pointed out as a Jew, which was as close as the group came to diversity–flagged me down. “Can I tell you what I like about Obama?” she asked. “I think the fact that there’s a normal black family in the White House. … If he could make being nerdy fashionable among black kids, he will have done a good thing.” The women nodded in agreement. No racists here!

Perhaps this will give skeptics a different viewpoint to the intentions of the marchers and provide some insight to the incorrect accusations that racial tensions are behind those citizens that disagree with Obama’s policies.

As a matter of fact, can anyone disagree that there are certain citizens that voted for Obama specifically because of his race? If anyone wants to point fingers, they could be pointed right back to the accusers.

Obama campaigned on hope and change. I believe we are getting change. Not what he wanted though. We are seeing Democrats resorting to name calling. They are not really talking about the issues to convince the rest of us to agree with their policies, not writing the bill so we can read it and discuss it, and, in the case of healthcare, not implementing the changes they want to make. Not yet anyway. The Republicans have not been speaking out for the last nine months. Thank you Joe Wilson and the 912 March in DC for the change we’ve been waiting for. After all the bickering perhaps there is hope in the future?

“Get Out of My Way”

Health Insurance, Obama, domestic policy, freedom of speech, healthcare plan, politics, town hall meetings No Comments

Obama’s words, “GET OUT OF MY WAY”, while referring to working out America’s healthcare dilemma, is the tipping point for me when dealing with this healthcare issue and perhaps in dealing with this President.

Our freedom of speech is being attacked. Is there any other way to interpret these words? Please tell me. This was after the White House request to submit “fishy”, misleading information to flag@whitehouse.gov. Senator John Conyn of Texas accused the White House of compiling an “enemies” list. DNC Communications Director, Brad Woodhouse, said “the right wing extremist Republican base is back”. How polarized has this country become during this “bipartisan, transparent Presidential term? This sounds and looks too ugly even for an elementary school yard fight. I am your average, everyday citizen and it looks to me like those that are attending town hall meetings are also average, everyday citizens. Additionally, we do not have to explain to you who we are, give excuses for  disagreeing with your policies, explain why we show up to town hall meetings, or any other protests.

Our country was founded with the principles of freedom. When the President of the United States tells it’s citizens to get out of the way and is compiling lists of people that disagree with him and his policies, I have good reason to worry. In response to the accusation of right wing extremists, the only extremism I see is in Washington and they are controlling the country. It’s time for those that are not extreme in Washington to stand up.

I’m sorry Mr. President, but this is not about you. We do not want your policies. Get over it. Instead of mocking and intimidating the US citizens try a different approach and try to work with us. Listen to other points of view. Be bipartisan as you claimed you would be. It’s time for you, Mr. President, to get out of MY way.

As Peggie Noonan said, this is “change we do not believe in”.

Take a look at these videos:

Shock Uncovered: Obama IN HIS OWN WORDS saying His Health Care Plan will ELIMINATE Private Insurance

Barack Obama and Single Payer Health Care

I would like to hear someone who defends Mr. Obama try to explain his inconsistencies, he can’t seem to explain them.

The Psychology of Mr. Obama the Salesman

Health Insurance, Obama, domestic policy, government control, healthcare plan, politics No Comments

Mr. Obama loves to talk to the American people as if we are young children. He talks slowly, carefully choosing his words, not to offend anyone and making sure we understand the subject matter enough. But most importantly, he talks slowly so we feel comfortable and we trust him. Trust is the key word. Trust a politician. I believe the American voters go into the voting booth with that in mind. Who can I trust the most out of the choices presented to me? That’s what I do.

After explaining carefully and slowly, Mr. Obama is always playing the fear card. The catastrophe card. There’s an urgency that he is selling. And he is always selling. Being around sales people my whole life I am attuned to the devices used. He claims to know us very well and all that we are dealing with and then of course presenting us a solution that will solve all our problems. Just rely on Mr. Obama. Just leave it all to him and we will have health, wealth, and happiness.

And after his whole song and dance sometimes he likes to admit that he doesn’t know all the small, unimportant details of what he is selling. After all he is only the president, the details are for the workers, advisors, committees to fine tune. This gives him an opportunity to show that he is actually human. It gives the American people an opportunity  to find him even more credible and more comfortable with him and his decisions. After all, he is not God, he is the President.

Just to put the icing on the cake, there is always the race card. It’s the guilt trip that underlies in the background. We play into the guilt, just like five year olds do. We really screwed up in the past and no one will ever forget it. Not only that, there are many angry people that will not get over it. Ever. Along with this guilt is also the fear. The fear that if we don’t listen to him there’s a substantial African American population (and now he’s adding latino Americans) just waiting for us not to listen to him and perhaps, even treat him badly. The first black President. How could we! That could be fatal to us all.

It’s interesting how he’s adding Latino Americans to this. Just making sure we bring Sotomayer into this and the fact that this is the group of people growing faster than any other. Additionally, I’m sure there’s a substantial number of latinos that don’t have health insurance. Just keep in mind, this is one of the groups that will help him win the next election. And he will. This group is actually substantial in looking at his target market.

Of course the media has been sold from the beginning. They are part of the staging of his press conferences. The questions, the commentary, the lack of questioning his numbers and his details. They have their jobs to think about. They will not treat him badly. They are in the same boat as the rest of us, except they are in the public eyes and all can see them.

Just to recap. He sells comfort, security, urgency, fear, and always guilt. Sometimes the guilt is not spoken, but it is always there.

I was thinking that we need the American people to wake up, but really we need the American people to grow up.

Who’s at Fault? Who’s to Blame? = BARNEY FRANK

Barney Frank, government control, politics, sub prime housing No Comments

No,No, No, No, not me, says Massachusetts,  Barney Frank. He doesn’t protest too much. Yes. Barney Frank is to blame for the sub prime housing bubble. After all the facts are gathered, all the lies, rebuttals are vanquished. The cold hard truth points its finger in certain conclusion at  Barney Frank. Starting in the early 1990’s, Rep. Barney Frank and (other democrats) stood in the way of  the regulators, Congress, and the White House’s efforts to control the runaway housing market  and get it under tighter regulation. Frank in 2002 and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and again in 2003, led by Barney Frank, stood as a bloc against any changes, that President Bush was advocating to make to Fannie and Freddie. Today Frank will deny the facts to anyone who will listen to his twisting and turning, and spinning of the truth. But the verdict is in and the results are that the current situation is ominous with foreclosure filings jumping to a record 1.9 million on properties in the first six months of the year. With solutions to this weighty problem being meager and geared to saving the face of our elected officials, it appears that this elephant of a crisis has no chance of being rectified in the near term.

The Glenn Beck Letter to Our Nation’s Leadership

Obama, bailouts, domestic policy, government control, politics, transparency No Comments

This letter hits home. Please read it.

GLENN: I got a letter from a woman in Arizona. She writes an open letter to our nation’s leadership: I’m a home grown American citizen, 53, registered Democrat all my life. Before the last presidential election I registered as a Republican because I no longer felt the Democratic Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. Now I no longer feel the Republican Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. The fact is I no longer feel any political party or representative in Washington represents my views or works to pursue the issues important to me. There must be someone. Please tell me who you are. Please stand up and tell me that you are there and that you’re willing to fight for our Constitution as it was written. Please stand up now. You might ask yourself what my views and issues are that I would horribly feel so disenfranchised by both major political parties. What kind of nut job am I? Will you please tell me?

Well, these are briefly my views and issues for which I seek representation:
One, illegal immigration. I want you to stop coddling illegal immigrants and secure our borders. Close the underground tunnels. Stop the violence and the trafficking in drugs and people. No amnesty, not again. Been there, done that, no resolution. P.S., I’m not a racist. This isn’t to be confused with legal immigration.

Two, the TARP bill, I want it repealed and I want no further funding supplied to it. We told you no, but you did it anyway. I want the remaining unfunded 95% repealed. Freeze, repeal.

Three: Czars, I want the circumvention of our checks and balances stopped immediately. Fire the czars. No more czars. Government officials answer to the process, not to the president. Stop trampling on our Constitution and honor it.

Four, cap and trade. The debate on global warming is not over. There is more to say.

Five, universal healthcare. I will not be rushed into another expensive decision. Don’t you dare try to pass this in the middle of the night and then go on break. Slow down!

Six, growing government control. I want states rights and sovereignty fully restored. I want less government in my life, not more. Shrink it down. Mind your own business. You have enough to take care of with your real obligations. Why don’t you start there.

Seven, ACORN. I do not want ACORN and its affiliates in charge of our 2010 census. I want them investigated. I also do not want mandatory escrow fees contributed to them every time on every real estate deal that closes. Stop the funding to ACORN and its affiliates pending impartial audits and investigations. I do not trust them with taking the census over with our taxpayer money. I don’t trust them with our taxpayer money. Face up to the allegations against them and get it resolved before taxpayers get any more involved with them. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, hello. Stop protecting your political buddies. You work for us, the people. Investigate.

Eight, redistribution of wealth. No, no, no. I work for my money. It is mine. I have always worked for people with more money than I have because they gave me jobs. That is the only redistribution of wealth that I will support. I never got a job from a poor person. Why do you want me to hate my employers? Why ‑‑ what do you have against shareholders making a profit?

Nine, charitable contributions. Although I never got a job from a poor person, I have helped many in need. Charity belongs in our local communities, where we know our needs best and can use our local talent and our local resources. Butt out, please. We want to do it ourselves.

Ten, corporate bailouts. Knock it off. Sink or swim like the rest of us. If there are hard times ahead, we’ll be better off just getting into it and letting the strong survive. Quick and painful. Have you ever ripped off a Band‑Aid? We will pull together. Great things happen in America under great hardship. Give us the chance to innovate. We cannot disappoint you more than you have disappointed us.

Eleven, transparency and accountability. How about it? No, really, how about it? Let’s have it. Let’s say we give the buzzwords a rest and have some straight honest talk. Please try ‑‑ please stop manipulating and trying to appease me with clever wording. I am not the idiot you obviously take me for. Stop sneaking around and meeting in back rooms making deals with your friends. It will only be a prelude to your criminal investigation. Stop hiding things from me.

Twelve, unprecedented quick spending. Stop it now.

Take a breath. Listen to the people. Let’s just slow down and get some input from some nonpoliticians on the subject. Stop making everything an emergency. Stop speed reading our bills into law. I am not an activist. I am not a community organizer. Nor am I a terrorist, a militant or a violent person. I am a parent and a grandparent. I work. I’m busy. I’m busy. I am busy, and I am tired. I thought we elected competent people to take care of the business of government so that we could work, raise our families, pay our bills, have a little recreation, complain about taxes, endure our hardships, pursue our personal goals, cut our lawn, wash our cars on the weekends and be responsible contributing members of society and teach our children to be the same all while living in the home of the free and land of the brave.

I entrusted you with upholding the Constitution. I believed in the checks and balances to keep from getting far off course. What happened? You are very far off course. Do you really think I find humor in the hiring of a speed reader to unintelligently ramble all through a bill that you signed into law without knowing what it contained? I do not. It is a mockery of the responsibility I have entrusted to you. It is a slap in the face. I am not laughing at your arrogance. Why is it that I feel as if you would not trust me to make a single decision about my own life and how I would live it but you should expect that I should trust you with the debt that you have laid on all of us and our children. We did not want the TARP bill. We said no. We would repeal it if we could. I am sure that we still cannot. There is such urgency and recklessness in all of the recent spending.

From my perspective, it seems that all of you have gone insane. I also know that I am far from alone in these feelings. Do you honestly feel that your current pursuits have merit to patriotic Americans? We want it to stop. We want to put the brakes on everything that is being rushed by us and forced upon us. We want our voice back. You have forced us to put our lives on hold to straighten out the mess that you are making. We will have to give up our vacations, our time spent with our children, any relaxation time we may have had and money we cannot afford to spend on you to bring our concerns to Washington. Our president often knows all the right buzzword is unsustainable. Well, no kidding. How many tens of thousands of dollars did the focus group cost to come up with that word? We don’t want your overpriced words. Stop treating us like we’re morons.

We want all of you to stop focusing on your reelection and do the job we want done, not the job you want done or the job your party wants done. You work for us and at this rate I guarantee you not for long because we are coming. We will be heard and we will be represented. You think we’re so busy with our lives that we will never come for you? We are the formerly silent majority, all of us who quietly work , pay taxes, obey the law, vote, save money, keep our noses to the grindstone and we are now looking up at you. You have awakened us, the patriotic spirit so strong and so powerful that it had been sleeping too long. You have pushed us too far. Our numbers are great. They may surprise you. For every one of us who will be there, there will be hundreds more that could not come. Unlike you, we have their trust. We will represent them honestly, rest assured. They will be at the polls on voting day to usher you out of office. We have cancelled vacations. We will use our last few dollars saved. We will find the representation among us and a grassroots campaign will flourish. We didn’t ask for this fight. But the gloves are coming off. We do not come in violence, but we are angry. You will represent us or you will be replaced with someone who will. There are candidates among us when hewill rise like a Phoenix from the ashes that you have made of our constitution.

Democrat, Republican, independent, libertarian. Understand this. We don’t care. Political parties are meaningless to us. Patriotic Americans are willing to do right by us and our Constitution and that is all that matters to us now. We are going to fire all of you who abuse power and seek more. It is not your power. It is ours and we want it back. We entrusted you with it and you abused it. You are dishonorable. You are dishonest. As Americans we are ashamed of you. You have brought shame to us. If you are not representing the wants and needs of your constituency loudly and consistently, in spite of the objections of your party, you will be fired. Did you hear? We no longer care about your political parties. You need to be loyal to us, not to them. Because we will get you fired and they will not save you. If you do or can represent me, my issues, my views, please stand up. Make your identity known. You need to make some noise about it. Speak up. I need to know who you are. If you do not speak up, you will be herded out with the rest of the sheep and we will replace the whole damn congress if need be one by one. We are coming. Are we coming for you? Who do you represent? What do you represent? Listen. Because we are coming. We the people are coming.

That pretty much sums up a few issues. The only problem I have with it is the fact that this lady was always a Democrat. I can’t see how people put themselves in tight places and then after people’s actions want to get out. I’d rather believe in individual freedom.

I sent a version of this to Mr. O and my representatives, hopefully they won’t be knocking on my door and take my first born.

Fear of Sarah

Obama, Sarah Palin, politics No Comments

What has become extremely apparent is the fact that the Democratic Party did a great job in promoting their candidate and an even better job of promoting the Republican Party. I believe everyone knows this deep down.

When I started thinking of promoting this site, just like anyone else, I started thinking of keywords and I was kind of shocked with the results. These are words that someone might ‘google’ when seeking information. I received words including “christian right”. I guess this isn’t so shocking, but it hit me of how the conservative movement is viewed (and viewed by google).

The 2008 election was instrumental in promoting candidates using the web and social media. What a great way for young viewers to get involved in the political process. The candidates needed to appear cool, young, racially diverse, charming, and new to the ‘politics as usual’ candidates. Obama was (and is) perfect in these regards, but more importantly, the Democratic Party was successful in promoting the conservative profile as the opposite; old, bald, white men with the same ‘politics as usual’ agenda. If a party wants to appeal to young voters or voters that are looking for change and hope, the association of sitting in church every week does not exactly seem cool. Of course, the weak economy, the Iraq War, and the strong anti-Bush movement was instrumental. It was the perfect opportunity to take advantage of a crisis.

This brings me to the point of Sarah Palin. She is a visible threat to the crafted work of Obama’s PR Firm. She is young and beautiful and she is  obviously not gong to play the ‘politics as usual’ game. This destroys the picture that has been painted of the grumpy old white men of the Republican Party. Additionally, she shakes the older voters up as well. Many are uncomfortable with women who can stand up to the rest of the world and can succeed in gaining control. Some might be disenchanted with her being upfront and showing off her family, instead of hiding who she really is and what she values. There are those that don’t want to hear the unpleasant truths of families and feel uncomfortable. Additionally, even if she did hide her family, can you imagine the dirt they would try to turn her into? Remember how they were searching endlessly in Alaska for information on her? I’m sure they still are searching. On the other hand, anyone who is objective would have to question why any information about Obama’s past was not regarded as credible.

Don’t be surprised, Sarah Palin will continue to be viciously attacked by media and anyone who is trying to promote their agenda in fear of legitimately debating policies.
